Hey Ta Danado Family! Just a reminder that the last day to book your media day portrait shoot is AUG 15th, 2026! Shoot days will be Saturday, September 12th for those who are not competing and Saturday, September 26th for competitors so they have chance to show off their medals!
For families with multiple members, each additional member will get $50 off!
ex: 1 member = $125 / 2 members = $200 / 3 members $275
If you have a family member who doesn't want their own individual portraits, but someone else in the family does, you can join in for 1 photo for a "Family Portrait".

TA DANADO JIU JITSU MEDIA DAY
Some of you may or may not know me as Patrick or "Gary's Dad". For the last 16 years, I have operated my independent photography business so I wanted to offer professional portraits for our fellow members of the academy.
We are hosting an exclusive, professional Media Day at Ta Danado Jiu Jitsu (think elite yearbook shoot, tailored specifically for our academy family). Whether you want to capture your current rank, show off your favorite gi, or get a clean professional shot to share with friends and/or family, this is your chance to get high-quality portraits done right here at the gym.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGE (Families with more than 1 member get $50 off each additional member)
• 3 Custom Looks/Poses: Wear your favorite Gi or Rashguard and Don't forget your Medals!
• Digital Copies: Full-resolution digital files perfect for social media, family sharing, or personal archives.
• 12x16 Canvas Print: A wall-ready, high-quality print to showcase your Jiu Jitsu journey at home or in the office.
SCHEDULE & DATES: Saturday, September 12th and Saturday, September 26th!
HOW THE PROCESS WORKS:
1. The Shoot: Come in during your class's assigned Saturday slot starting at 1:00 PM. Please have outfits ready (Please wear rash guard and shorts under gi to save time if wanting a shot in rash guard)
2. Proof Selection: After Media Day, you’ll receive an individual digital proof gallery to select your absolute favorite shots.
3. Editing & Digital Delivery: Once you make your selections, your images will be edited and touched up and delivered straight to your email.
4. Canvas Pickup: Physical canvas prints take a little extra time to develop and craft. Once printed, they will be delivered directly to the dojo for you to pick up!
